Best Trimmer for Men in India (2026): 7 Picks for Beard, Body and Budget

A trimmer is a small purchase, but a bad one shows up on your face every morning. In India the usual failures are predictable: a battery that dies in six months, blades that pull on thick beards, a “waterproof” body that rusts in a humid bathroom, and a warranty claim that goes nowhere because the brand has no service centre near you. We went through the Amazon.in best-seller list for beard and moustache trimmers, read the listings line by line, and went through owner reviews for the problems that keep coming up.
These are the seven we’d shortlist, from a ₹500 beard trimmer to a ₹3,500 Philips kit that handles everything from nose hair to a shower trim.
Short answer: for most men, the Philips BT3325. It’s a plain beard trimmer with 10 length settings from 0.5 to 10 mm, 60 minutes of runtime, self-sharpening blades and up to three years of warranty once you register it, all in the ₹700–900 band. Keep a longer beard? The Xiaomi Beard Trimmer 2C goes up to 20 mm. Want one tool for the whole body? The Philips MG3927 kit. Just below the belt? The Philips BG3470.

1. Philips BT3325 — best overall
Check Philips BT3325 price on Amazon →
Who it’s for: Anyone keeping stubble or a short-to-medium beard who wants a trimmer from a brand with service centres in most Indian cities.
The BT3325 is the second-best-selling beard trimmer on Amazon.in right now, and it earns that by doing the basics properly. A dial gives you 10 length settings from 0.5 to 10 mm. The self-sharpening steel blades have rounded tips, and a “Lift & Trim” comb lifts flat hairs toward the blade so you go over the same patch fewer times. Philips quotes 60 minutes of cordless use from a 1.5-hour charge, with a 15-minute quick charge that’s enough for one trim.
The warranty is the real draw. You get 2 years as standard and another year if you register the trimmer with Philips. At this price, that’s rare.
What we like
- 10 dial settings in the ₹700–900 band
- Up to 3 years of warranty with registration
- Philips’ service network, which reaches smaller cities better than most trimmer brands
Watch out for
- 10 mm is the longest setting. Bigger beards need the Xiaomi or a multigroom kit.
- The listing says “USB cable” without naming the connector, and one owner says it isn’t Type-C. Check before you assume your phone charger will do.
- A minority of reviews mention nicks, noise, or a unit dying within the first month. Register it on day one so the claim is easy.
- The 8,178 ratings appear to include older Philips models.
Verdict: The safe default. Skip it only if your beard is longer than 1 cm.
2. Xiaomi Beard Trimmer 2C — best for longer beards under ₹1,000
Check Xiaomi Beard Trimmer 2C price on Amazon →
Who it’s for: Men who keep a fuller beard and want fine control over length, and anyone who already charges everything over USB-C.
The 2C has been on Amazon.in since March 2023 and sits at about 4.2★ from roughly 16,700 ratings. You get 40 length settings from 0.5 to 20 mm using two combs, so it can hold a 2 cm beard that the Philips BT3325 can’t. Xiaomi quotes 90 minutes of runtime from a 2-hour charge over USB-C, plus an LED battery indicator, a travel lock, a pouch and a cleaning brush. The combs are washable.
What we like
- Twice the length range of the Philips BT3325
- USB-C, so one cable for phone and trimmer
- 90-minute runtime
Watch out for
- 1-year warranty only. Xiaomi’s service reach for small appliances is thinner than Philips’ or Havells’.
- Some owners report the blade breaking within six months, or the unit failing early.
- It sits at the top of the “under ₹1,000” band and sometimes crosses it.
Verdict: Pick it over the Philips if you need the extra length. Pick the Philips if the longer warranty matters more.
3. VEGA Power Lite — best on the tightest budget
Check VEGA Power Lite price on Amazon →
Who it’s for: Students, first-time buyers, or anyone who needs a spare for travel and doesn’t want to spend much.
For around ₹500 the spec sheet is surprisingly close to the Xiaomi’s. VEGA gives it 40 settings from 0.5 to 20 mm, 90 minutes of runtime on a 90-minute charge, USB-C and self-sharpening stainless-steel blades that you can rinse. It also runs while plugged in, which saves you when the battery’s flat. At 102 g it’s the lightest trimmer here.
What we like
- 40 settings and USB-C in the ₹450–600 band
- Works corded or cordless
- Washable blades
Watch out for
- The warranty is unclear. The title says 2 years; one bullet says 1 year. Screenshot the listing when you order.
- Reviews are split on the blades: some find them smooth, others report the trimmer stopped after a few uses or pulled and cut skin.
Verdict: Good value if you accept some quality-control risk. Spend ₹300 more on the Philips BT3325 for the longer warranty.
4. Lifelong LLPCM304 — best battery life for the money
Check Lifelong LLPCM304 trimmer price on Amazon →
Who it’s for: Men who hate charging and want one cheap tool for beard, nose and body.
Lifelong quotes 120 minutes of runtime from a 500 mAh lithium-ion battery, charged in 90 minutes over USB-C. That’s double the Philips BT3325’s figure. In the box you get three heads (a precision head for the beard, a U-shaped head for body hair, and a nose/ear trimmer) plus seven guide combs from 1 to 16 mm. It has about 20,000 ratings at 4.0★, and owners mostly praise the battery and fast charging.
What we like
- 120-minute runtime and USB-C in the ₹700–900 band
- Three heads cover beard, body and nose
- A large, mostly positive owner base
Watch out for
- 1-year warranty, and Lifelong’s service is mostly through the Amazon seller.
- The bullets say 1–16 mm combs; the spec table says 0.4–10 mm. Go by the comb sizes in the box.
- “Waterproof” appears as a feature tag, but there’s no IPX rating. Treat it as rinse-the-head only.
- Some owners say it stopped working after about three months.
Verdict: The cheapest way to get long battery life and a body head. If you want 120 minutes with a better warranty, see the MG7931. The boAt Slazer S100 claims 300 minutes, but it has only a few hundred ratings so far.
5. Philips BG3470 — best for body grooming
Check Philips BG3470 price on Amazon →
Who it’s for: Men who want to trim chest, underarms, legs and the groin area without nicks, and who’d rather do it in the shower.
The BG3470 is the top seller in Men’s Body Groomers on Amazon.in. It isn’t a beard trimmer. One side is a foil-style shaver with skin protection, and the other trims through a single 3 mm comb. It’s 100% showerproof, so you can use it wet, and Philips quotes 60 minutes of runtime. Retailers list the charge as about 8 hours, which is long, so charge it overnight. The title promises up to 5 years of warranty.
What we like
- Designed for sensitive skin, which most all-in-one kits aren’t
- Fully showerproof, so you can rinse it straight under the tap
- Long warranty claim from a brand with real service reach
Watch out for
- Only one 3 mm comb. It’s a body tool, not a styler.
- The Amazon spec table says Ni-MH battery; one retailer says lithium. Ni-MH loses capacity faster, so check.
- About 8 hours to charge, per retailers.
- Reviews are mixed on cutting thicker hair, and some find cleaning hair out of the head slow.
- The 45,582 ratings seem to include older BG models.
Verdict: The one to buy if body grooming is the main job. For back hair or a longer runtime, look at its BG5475 sibling, which costs more.
6. Philips MG3927 — best all-in-one kit under ₹1,500
Check Philips MG3927 price on Amazon →
Who it’s for: Men who want one Philips handle for beard, head, nose and body, and don’t mind a few attachments in the drawer.
The MG3927 is the number one seller in beard trimmers on Amazon.in. It comes with 9 tools: a full-size trimmer, a precision trimmer, a nose/ear head, a body comb and beard combs. The precision comb steps in 0.5 mm from 1 to 3 mm. Blades are self-sharpening with rounded tips, and the title quotes 60 minutes of runtime.
What we like
- Covers face, head, nose and body in the ₹1,000–1,300 band
- Philips service and parts availability
- Huge owner base on this family of kits
Watch out for
- Philips doesn’t publish the charge time or battery type on this listing. A comparison site lists it as Ni-MH, and similar older MG models took about 8 hours to charge.
- The title says 2-year warranty; a badge on the page says 5 years. Read the warranty card.
- Only the precision comb’s range is listed. The listing doesn’t say how long the beard combs go.
- Reviews mention batteries fading and some units failing within 10 months.
Verdict: The value kit if you want variety. If battery life matters, the Lifelong does more per charge; if you can spend more, the MG7931 is the better kit.
7. Philips MG7931 — best premium trimmer
Check Philips MG7931 price on Amazon →
Who it’s for: Men who groom often and want one tool that copes with long sessions and water.
It’s a 16-in-1 kit with a lithium battery rated for 120 minutes, a 5-minute quick charge, and an IPX7, 100% showerproof body. Philips’ BeardSense reads hair density 125 times a second and adds power on thick patches, which helps with the dense, coarse beards common in India. The precision comb has 11 settings in 0.2 mm steps from 1 to 3 mm, the beard combs go up to 16 mm, and there’s a dedicated body blade and an eyebrow comb.
You get 2 years of warranty, plus 3 more if you register on Philips’ site within 90 days. Set a phone reminder.
What we like
- 120 minutes and IPX7 in one handle
- Fine 0.2 mm steps for stubble
- Up to 5 years of warranty
Watch out for
- In the ₹3,200–3,800 band, it costs four times the BT3325. The near-identical MG7922 is often cheaper.
- The listing’s “7 settings from 0.5 to 16 mm in 1 mm steps” doesn’t add up. Check the comb set in the photos.
- Some owners report units failing within weeks or months, and some call it overpriced.
Verdict: The best trimmer here if budget isn’t the constraint. Register it, or you lose most of the reason to pay extra.
Philips vs Mi trimmer: which should you buy?
It comes down to warranty against length range. Philips (BT3325 and up) gives you 2–3 years of warranty and a wide service network across Indian cities, but its cheaper models stop at 10 mm and don’t all use USB-C. Xiaomi’s 2C gives you 40 settings to 20 mm and USB-C for about the same money, with only a 1-year warranty. If you keep stubble, buy the Philips. If you keep a beard longer than about 1 cm, buy the Xiaomi.
How to choose a trimmer in India
1. Match the length range to your beard
Stubble needs fine steps between 0.5 and 3 mm. A full beard needs combs that reach 15–20 mm. Check the maximum length before anything else.
2. Battery type and real runtime
Lithium-ion holds its charge better over the years than Ni-MH, and charges in 1–2 hours instead of 8. Listings often don’t say which one they use. Treat any runtime figure as new-battery numbers; expect less after a year.
3. USB-C is worth having
A trimmer with USB-C charges from your phone charger, a laptop or a power bank during a power cut. Proprietary pins or old USB-A cables are one more thing to lose.
4. Water rating, not “washable”
“Washable blades” means you can rinse the head. “IPX7” or “100% showerproof” means the whole body can get wet. In humid coastal cities, a trimmer kept in the bathroom lasts longer if it’s properly sealed. Dry the head after rinsing either way.
5. Hard water and blade care
Hard water leaves white scale on blades and combs. Rinse, shake dry and brush out hair after each use. A drop of oil every few weeks helps on blades that aren’t sold as oil-free.
6. Warranty and service near you
Philips and Havells have service centres in most cities; smaller brands mostly handle claims through the Amazon seller. Register the warranty on the day it arrives and keep the invoice.
How we chose
We started from the Amazon.in Best Sellers list for men’s beard and moustache trimmers on 18 October 2026 and kept models that were in stock with a live price that day. We compared specs from each listing: runtime, charge time, length range, blade type, water rating, charging port and warranty. Where the listing contradicted itself or other retailers, we’ve marked it. We then read the owner-review summaries for recurring problems, such as early failures, skin nicks and weak batteries, and dropped models with very few ratings or no buy box. We haven’t used these trimmers ourselves, so our opinions rest on specs and owner reports. No brand paid for placement. Read our full method →

Which is the best beard trimmer under ₹1,000? The Philips BT3325 if you keep stubble or a short beard, and the Xiaomi 2C if you need lengths up to 20 mm. On a tighter budget, the VEGA Power Lite has similar specs for about half the price.
Which is the best beard trimmer under ₹2,000? For beard only, you don’t need to spend that much. For an all-in-one kit, the Philips MG3927. For body grooming, the Philips BG3470.
Which trimmer is best for body grooming? A dedicated body groomer with a guard for sensitive skin, like the Philips BG3470. All-in-one kits can trim body hair, but their blades aren’t designed for the groin area.
Is Philips better than Mi for trimmers? Philips offers longer warranties and better service reach; Xiaomi offers more length settings and USB-C for the money. See the comparison above.
Can I use a trimmer in the shower? Only if it’s rated IPX7 or “100% showerproof”, like the Philips MG7931 and BG3470. “Washable blades” means rinse the head only.
