₹30,000 is the budget where home treadmills get properly useful. Below about ₹15,000 you’re mostly buying a walking machine. Around ₹20k–27k, you now get motorised incline, 130–150 kg ratings and belts 420–450 mm wide.
We compared the treadmills in stock on Amazon.in in this range and read owner reviews for recurring problems. Four made the cut. For the full range above and below this budget, see our best treadmill for home in India guide.

Short answer: our top pick is the Lifelong 6HP Auto Incline, but Amazon.in showed it as “Currently unavailable” on 24 October. While it’s out, buy the Cockatoo Smart-Run A6. About the Lifelong: It has 25 levels of motorised incline, a 150 kg rating and the widest belt here, and it leaves ₹5,000+ for a stabiliser and mat. Taller, or you’ll jog a lot? The Cockatoo Smart-Run A6 has a longer deck and 16 km/h. Want auto incline for about ₹16,000? The Lifelong 5HP.

1. Lifelong 6HP Auto Incline — best overall under ₹30,000
Availability, 24 October 2026: Amazon.in shows this one as “Currently unavailable”. We’ll replace it if it doesn’t come back soon. Until then, the Cockatoo Smart-Run A6 (pick 2) is the closest match.

Who it’s for: Most homes, including users up to about 130 kg, who want incline walking and the odd jog.
This one gets the big three right. 25 levels of motorised incline, a 150 kg rating and a 1200 × 450 mm belt, wider than anything else here. Speed runs from 1 to 15 km/h on a brushless motor rated 6 HP peak, and you get 16 programmes, pulse sensors, a tablet holder and Bluetooth. It weighs about 45 kg.
Lifelong only shows a 1-year warranty, though. And there’s no continuous HP figure.
What we like
- Auto incline and 150 kg capacity in the ₹21k–25k band
- 450 mm wide belt
- BLDC motor, quieter than most brushed DC motors
Watch out for
- 1-year warranty. Register it the day it’s installed.
- No published continuous HP.
- The listing says “foldable handle” in one place and “foldable” in another. Check how it folds if you need to store it upright.
- Its 6,385 ratings are shared with every other Lifelong treadmill, so treat the star rating as a brand signal, not a model one.
Verdict: The safe default at this budget. Buy the A6 instead if you’re over 5’10” and plan to jog regularly.
2. Cockatoo Smart-Run A6 — auto incline with a longer deck
Check Cockatoo Smart-Run A6 price on Amazon →
Who it’s for: Taller walkers and joggers, up to about 110 kg.
The A6 has auto incline from 0 to 15%, 16 km/h and a 1260 × 420 mm belt, 6 cm longer than pick 1. That length is what you’ll notice once your stride opens up. It’s rated for 130 kg with a 6 HP peak motor, and sits in the ₹22k–27k band.
The catch is information. Cockatoo publishes no continuous rating, and the warranty isn’t clearly stated.
What we like
- Longest deck and fastest top speed here
- Auto incline to 15%
- 130 kg rating
Watch out for
- No continuous HP. Ask in the Amazon Q&A before buying.
- Warranty not clearly stated. Confirm it and screenshot the listing.
- Fewer long-term reviews than the older models.
Verdict: The jogger’s pick under ₹30,000. Heavier than 115 kg? Pick 1 has more headroom.
3. Lifelong 5HP Auto Incline — cheapest way to get auto incline
Check Lifelong 5HP Auto Incline Treadmill price on Amazon →
Who it’s for: Walkers up to about 90 kg who want incline workouts without stepping off.
Auto incline used to start near ₹25,000. This Lifelong does it for about ₹16,000: 12 levels of motorised incline, 14 km/h, a 1100 × 420 mm belt and a hydraulic fold. It’s rated for 110 kg, weighs about 40 kg, and has 12 programmes plus Bluetooth.
What we like
- Auto incline in the ₹15k–17k band
- 420 mm wide belt
- Hydraulic fold
Watch out for
- 110 kg maximum, so plan around 90 kg for daily use.
- The 1100 mm belt is short for running.
- No continuous HP; 1-year warranty; ratings shared with other Lifelong models.
Verdict: The value pick if incline walking is the plan and you’ll rarely run.
4. Fitkit by Cult PowerRunPlus — if ₹16,000 is your real limit
Check Fitkit by Cult PowerRunPlus price on Amazon →
Who it’s for: Walkers and light joggers who’d rather spend ₹14k–16k and keep the rest.
The PowerRunPlus is rated for 120 kg and 14 km/h, with a BLDC motor rated 5 HP peak, a 2-level manual incline and a knob fold with transport wheels. It has about 4.0★ from roughly 3,150 ratings, though that count may include other Fitkit listings.
What we like
- About half the price of the top two picks
- 120 kg and 14 km/h on paper
- Folds and rolls away
Watch out for
- The running area is 105 × 39 cm. Fine for walking, cramped for jogging.
- Incline is manual, and there’s no continuous HP figure.
- The 1-year warranty covers manufacturing defects only, and Cult recommends a 2 kVA stabiliser.
Verdict: A good walking treadmill. For about the same money, pick 3 gets you auto incline and a wider belt; pick this one if you want the higher weight rating.
What ₹30,000 gets you (and what it doesn’t)
Here’s what you can realistically expect for ₹15k–30k right now:
- Motor: 5–6 HP peak on the box. Continuous ratings are rarely published, so assume about half.
- Belt: 1100–1260 mm long, 420–450 mm wide.
- Incline: motorised from about ₹16,000 up.
- Speed: 14–16 km/h.
- Weight: 110–150 kg ratings.
What it usually doesn’t get you is a multi-year motor warranty or 18 km/h. Those start just above ₹30,000.
Spend a bit more if…
- You want a longer warranty. The MAXPRO Optira Plus has 2 years on the motor, lifetime on the frame and 18 km/h, in the ₹30k–35k band.
- You run and weigh under about 100 kg. The Cockatoo CTM14A has a published 2.5 HP continuous motor, 16 km/h and 18% auto incline, in the ₹35k–40k band.
Both are on our best treadmill for home in India page.

Buying checklist
Continuous HP, not peak. Listings headline peak HP. If continuous isn’t shown, assume about half. For jogging, you want roughly 2–2.5 HP continuous.
Leave 15–20 kg of weight margin. Running a machine at its maximum rating every day wears the motor and belt faster. At 95 kg, look for a 110–120 kg rating or higher.
Budget for a stabiliser. Voltage swings are the most common reason controller boards die, and several brands won’t honour the warranty without one. Set aside ₹1,500–3,000. Don’t count on a home inverter running a motorised treadmill.
Check belt size. For jogging, or if you’re taller than about 5’10”, aim for at least 1200 × 420 mm.
Look up service in your city. Search “[brand] service centre [your city]” before ordering. Register the warranty on installation day and keep the invoice and unboxing video.
Measure your room. Allow for the footprint plus about 2 m of clear space behind the belt. In an upper-floor flat, add a rubber mat for the neighbours. Our fitness accessories for beginners guide covers what else is worth buying.
FAQs
Which is the best treadmill under ₹30,000 in India? For most homes, the Lifelong 6HP Auto Incline: 25-level motorised incline, 150 kg rating and a 450 mm belt in the ₹21k–25k band.
Which treadmill under ₹30,000 has auto incline? All three of our top picks: the Lifelong 6HP (25 levels), the Cockatoo Smart-Run A6 (0–15%) and the Lifelong 5HP (12 levels, ₹15k–17k).
What’s the best treadmill under ₹30,000 for a heavy person? The Lifelong 6HP, rated for 150 kg. That gives a 120–130 kg user sensible headroom.

Should I buy a walking pad instead? If you only walk and need it to fit under a bed, maybe. See our treadmill vs walking pad guide.
How we chose
Several of our earlier picks in this range were discontinued in October 2026, so we rebuilt the list from treadmills that were in stock on Amazon.in on 18 October. We compared specs from the live listings: motor, user-weight rating, belt size, incline, speed and warranty. Where a value was vague, we’ve flagged it. We then read owner reviews for repeat problems such as noise, belt issues and slow service. We haven’t used these machines hands-on, so our opinions rest on specs and owner reports. No brand paid for placement. Read our full method →
